The health and safety of our citizens and staff are the City of Titusville’s top priority. Staff continues to provide uninterrupted essential city services and has implemented various extra measures at all of our facilities following both Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Florida Department of Health (FDOH) COVID-19 guidelines and measures for infection prevention.
Limit Potential Exposure
We are urging all Titusville residents to exercise precautions to limit potential exposure and the spread of respiratory illness. Be sure to follow guidelines set out by the Florida Department of Health, CDC, and the World Health Organization.
This includes frequent and thorough handwashing with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol may be used when hand washing is not possible. You should also practice social distancing and limit your contact with others. Avoid large gatherings and leave at least six feet of space between yourself and others if you need to venture out. Most importantly, if you feel sick or suspect that you have been in contact with someone who may have COVID-19, stay home, and contact your health care provider or the Department of Health.
It is our responsibility to help protect vulnerable populations from exposure.
The City of Titusville will continue to work with partner agencies locally to help keep you informed and protect our community. We will share additional information as it becomes available. The Florida Department of Health’s COVID-19 hotline is available 24/7 at 866-779-6121 or by email The Florida Department of Health COVID-19.
