The Development Review Committee (DRC) of the City of Titusville, Florida met in session in Council Chambers located at 555 South Washington Avenue on Tuesday February 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.

Deputy Community Development Director Mandy Lamothe called the meeting to order at 2:00 pm. Present were Engineering Manager Ashleigh Smith, Principle Planner Eddy Galindo, City Engineer Kwabena Ofosu, Building Official Steve Adams, Fire Inspector Amanda Baumann. Also present was Recording Secretary Laurie Dargie.

DRC# 5-2023 – 213 Broad Street

The waiver requested is as follows:
The applicant is requesting the Development Review Committee (DRC) to grant the following waiver:
A waiver to the Code. The development involves the renovation of the existing office building and site at 213 Broad Street. The property has 0.1+ acres and is located within the DMU Zoning Downtown sub-district zoning district.
The applicant is requesting the following DMU Landscape Standards waiver:
Downtown Mixed Use Landscape Standards Waiver:
- Section 30-391(e) Table 30-10, Miscellaneous Standards – Where required, perimeter planting areas shall be a minimum of seven (7) feet in any direction (measured from the back of curb).
Request – To reduce the required landscape buffer along the east side interior property line from seven (7) feet to a minimum landscape buffer of 1.75 feet. The landscape buffer will vary from a minimum of approximately 1.75 feet to a maximum of 2.0 feet.
