Laboratory Services

Laboratory Services provides analysis of drinking water, wastewater and biosolids for Water Resources Department official use. Its scope includes analyses for heavy metals, nutrients, solids, inorganics and microbiological contaminants. We are a Florida DOH-accredited laboratory under the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP).

Laboratory Services uses LIMS-networked modern analytical equipment including Ion Chromatography (IC), Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectroscopy (ICP-MS), and Automated Discrete Analyzers.  Our Colilert Microbiology Lab uses the speediest DOH-certified Methods to provide rapid results for drinking water public health and safety.

Titusville Laboratory Services does not test samples from homeowners, businesses or private utilities. Any customers who want laboratory testing need to hire one of the many private laboratories in the area. For a list of laboratories approved for water or sewer analysis, go to the Florida DEP web site and search under "NELAP Certified Laboratory Search."
