Latest Chlorine Dosing Information

The City of Titusville will perform a chlorine dosing of its water distribution system from September 16 through October 13. The dosing is a normal maintenance procedure. The dosing is scheduled to be completed over a four-week period (from September 16 through October 13) and will include the flushing of mains throughout the water system. During the dosing, Titusville drinking water may have a chlorine taste and smell, which is normal. Titusville’s water remains safe for drinking, cooking, bathing, and other everyday uses during the dosing; and, water quality is constantly monitored to ensure it meets regulated safety standards.
