Operations
The Operations Division is the largest division within the department, providing the emergency service levels to the community that is inherent to the title-fire department. We are an all-hazards department, providing emergency services to our community and supporting these services through proper skills training and resource management. These emergency services include:
- Biohazard and terrorist threats
- Medical calls
- Responding to fires of all types
- Service calls
- Vehicle accidents
- Weather emergencies
Supporting services to this division include emergency skills training, physical training, equipment and supplies, vehicle and facility maintenance.
Staff
The Operations Division is headed by the Operations Chief, who provides direct supervision to the staff members of the Emergency Medical Services/Training Section, Logistics and Public Education Section, and shift Battalion Chiefs.
Shift/combat personnel include:
- Battalion Chiefs (3)
- Driver-Operators (12)
- Firefighters (24), rotating on a 3-battalion system and operating out of four fire stations
- Station Lieutenants (12)
