Titusville Police are investigating the shooting death of a local man that occurred on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
At approximately 6:15 PM, Titusville Police responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Tropic Street and Dummit Avenue.
Officers secured the crime scene, and located Johnell R. Neal, 45, of Titusville, with an apparent gunshot wound lying in the roadway.
The unknown suspect(s) fled the scene and are still at large.
Neal was transported to a local hospital and succumbed to his injuries at approximately 7 PM.
There were no other injuries.
Preliminary evidence revealed this incident was not random.
