A Titusville police officer was involved in a traffic crash on Friday, September 29, 2023, at approximately 5:30 AM, while responding to an in-progress domestic violence call for service.
The preliminary investigation revealed the officer was driving his patrol vehicle en route to the active scene and subsequently crashed into the garage of a residence located on the 3000 block of Zaharias Place.
The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is recovering at home.
There were no other injuries.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion by traffic crash investigators.
