Man Dies in Early Morning Traffic Crash

Titusville Police Department Posted on November 23, 2022

A local man was killed as a result of a single vehicle traffic crash occurring at approximately 7 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

 

The preliminary investigation revealed a silver 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe, traveling northbound near the 5200 block of South Washington Avenue (US 1), lost control, entered the far eastside grassy median of the roadway, went airborne, hit a concrete street light pole, and finally struck a wooden power pole. 

 

The victim, Corey Matthew Henry, 32, of Titusville, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital, succumb to his injuries and pronounced deceased at approximately 8:30 AM.

 

There were no other injuries.

 

This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion by traffic crash investigators.
