The City of Titusville Code Enforcement Division has achieved 2023 national reaccreditation along with the prestigious honor of being named the “benchmark for other code compliance divisions” according to the American Association of Code Enforcement (AACE).
Titusville Code Enforcement is now the highest-scoring city in the state of Florida with an overall average score of 176 given by the AACE during the accreditation evaluation and received a Four-Star Accreditation ranking amongst the top in the country, more specifically 2nd nationally.
The Code Enforcement Division handles the prevention, detection, investigation, and enforcement of all violations of state statutes or ordinances regulating public health, safety, and welfare, business activities and consumer protection, building standards, land use, or municipal affairs and this AACE national accreditation process reviews best practices, departmental strategies, and programs.
“These results reflect the dedication of our division’s commitment to the community of Titusville”, said Code Enforcement Manager Glenn Tolleson. “We are a healthy organization and are proud to have demonstrated a level of accountability which bolsters public trust”, added Tolleson.
