Titusville Police Detectives are investigating a shooting incident in the late-night hours of Saturday, April 13, 2024.

At approximately 10:30 PM, Titusville Police responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of South DeLeon Avenue and W.C. Stafford Street.

Officers secured the scene and located 3 adults, 2 juveniles, and one infant, occupying a white 2024 Hyundai Tucson SUV, stating they heard multiple loud “thumps” in their vehicle at the time of the shooting.

The preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle was targeted and was struck with multiple firearm rounds from an unidentified suspect, possibly located in the area east of DeLeon Avenue and north of W.C. Stafford Street.

An adult passenger was stuck by bullet-related debris and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The unknown suspect(s) fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Based on the preliminary evidence, Detectives believe this was an isolated incident and continue to pursue all investigative leads.
