At approximately 11:30 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023, Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a motorcycle and tractor truck on Tico Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed an adult male and his adult female passenger were traveling northbound on Tico Road on a 2008 CRB 600 Honda motorcycle and lost control of the vehicle as they navigated a curve in the road. The motorcycle crossed to the opposite side of the roadway and collided with a parked 2006 Volvo tractor truck which was located over 20 feet from the roadway.
Both motorcyclists were ejected.
The adult male motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The adult female motorcyclist was transported local hospital and succumbed to her injuries.
The solo occupant of the tractor truck was not injured.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and more details will be released upon its conclusion.
