The City of Titusville Police Department is offering complimentary residential security surveys and commercial crime prevention through environmental design site surveys.
As an innovative and proactive initiative, city residents can request a survey via a crime prevention through an environmental design practitioner’s inspection of their dwellings or commercial property.
After a site inspection, residents will be provided options and recommendations to “target harden” their property. The City’s goal is to increase the perception of safety and security in the City of Titusville.
All surveys are confidential and exempt from public disclosure.
“By identifying breaches in home or business security, steps can be taken to reduce criminal opportunities”, said Titusville Code Enforcement Manager Glenn Tolleson. “Additionally, this no-cost analysis could potentially result in safer and more secure places for our residents”, added Tolleson.
