Congratulations Officer Sarah Page for being awarded March Citywide Employee of the Month during a recent City Council Special Recognitions meeting.
Officer Page became a sworn member of the Titusville Police Department in 2023. She has received this prestigious recognition because of her kindness and above-and-beyond compassion for our Titusville community.
Officer Page responded to a call for service from a young man who was struggling with housing insecurity and admitted he was at one of the lowest points in his life. He was trying to attend a job interview, however, his bicycle tires had both gone flat. Without hesitation, Officer Page took it upon herself to take the young man to Walmart and purchase new tire tubes for his bicycle at her own expense.
“Officer Page has a heart for community policing which shows through her dedication to teamwork, service, and professionalism”, said Titusville Police Patrol Supervisor, Sergeant Austin Reedy. “This opportunity to invest time and empathy into an individual’s life is just one of many encounters I’ve personally witnessed,” added Reedy.
This recognition is a public acknowledgment of Officer Sarah Page’s incredible work ethic and unsurpassed commitment to the well-being of our Titusville community.
