On Tuesday May 13, 2025, at approximately 9:00 AM, Titusville Police Department responded to a verbal disturbance in the 3400 block of Garden Street. Patrol officers met with an adult male and a juvenile female.
The juvenile was identified as a runaway missing juvenile from South Florida.
The male was identified as Devin White, DOB 10- 25-1983 of New York.
Through an excellent patrol level investigation, which required the response of the Criminal Investigations Division, it was discovered Devin White picked up this runaway juvenile on a beach in South Florida and brought her to Titusville Florida.
While in Titusville, Devin engaged in sexual acts with the juvenile.
A subsequent search of Devin’s vehicle and cell phone provided further evidence of these acts occurring.
Devin White is being charged with the following: • 1 Count Lewd and Lascivious Battery • 11 Counts of Sexual Performance by a Child • 11 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography • 1 Count Possession of MDMA • 1 Count Possession of Controlled Susbtance while in Physical Control of Motor Vehicle • 1 Count Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
White is being held at the Brevard County Detention Center on a no bond status.
“This case highlights the critical importance of our officer’s instincts and attention to detail," said Detective Sergeant Bryan Nelson. “Thanks to the vigilance of our initial responding officers and the thorough investigation that followed, we were able to identify a juvenile in danger and bring serious charges against the suspect, along with protecting vulnerable victims and holding offenders accountable which remains one of our highest priorities,” added Nelson.
