Two Dead, One Injured in Early Morning Shooting

Titusville Police Department Posted on June 10, 2022

Titusville Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 5 AM on Friday, June 10, 2022, which left two women dead and a man seriously injured.

 

Officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots fired near the intersection of Tropic Street and Brown Avenue. 

 

Officers arrived at the wooded area on the northwest corner of Tropic Street, and located 2 adult females and an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. Two female victims were deceased at the scene, one male victim was critically injured.

 

The male victim was transported to a local hospital. 

 

The suspect(s) is still at large.

 

Based on preliminary evidence, detectives believe this incident was not random and the suspect is known to the victims. The location appears to be a transient/homeless camp.

 

This is an active ongoing investigation and more details will be released.
