A local man was killed in a traffic crash when his vehicle struck a tree at approximately 4:30 PM on Friday, July 8, 2022 near the intersection of South Park Avenue and Harrison Street.
The preliminary investigation revealed Kazumi Hamada, 93, of Titusville, driving a silver 2016 Toyota Camry, westbound on Harrison Street, veered off the roadway and struck a large tree just east of the intersection.
No other vehicles were involved.
Hamada was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at approximately 5:20 PM.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion.
