A local woman has died in connection to a multi-vehicle traffic crash occurring at approximately 1:30 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, near the intersection of Barna Avenue and Knox McRae Drive.
The preliminary investigation revealed Gloria Jean Graham, 71, of Titusville, driving a black 2021 Chevrolet Equinox and traveling southbound on Barna Avenue, veered into the northbound lane and was struck head-on by a northbound 2014 red Chevrolet Silverado truck driven by Carolyn Marie Schmidt, 55, of Titusville.
Schmidt sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Graham was transported to a local hospital and succumbed to her injuries at approximately 2 PM.
There were no other injuries.
This remains an ongoing traffic investigation, and traffic crash investigators will release further details upon its conclusion.
