Pedestrian Killed in Traffic Crash

Titusville Police Department Posted on November 02, 2020

At approximately 9:40 PM on Sunday, November 1, 2020, Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a vehicle and a pedestrian near the intersection of South Hopkins Avenue and Garden Street.

The preliminary investigation revealed Robin Ellis, 46, of Titusville, stepped into the roadway and was struck by a black 2016 Nissan Frontier truck, traveling southbound on South Hopkins Avenue, driven by a 17-year-old licensed driver. 

Ellis was transported to a local hospital and was pronounced deceased at 10:20 PM. 

There were no other injuries. 

There are no charges at this time. 

This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department. Further details will be released upon the investigation’s conclusion.
