As a direct response to local businesses’ concerns, the City of Titusville Code Enforcement and Police Departments have launched a new program created specifically to help these businesses lawfully remove individuals trespassing on their property.
The Business Trespass Program requires a simple registration with Code Enforcement, which will in turn provide law enforcement officers with information on business contacts.
Each business completes a blanket trespass affidavit along with details on who is allowed on the property after hours.
When a business registered in the program requires assistance, law enforcement is notified and officers can respond promptly to address the issue due to the valuable information previously provided by the business via the Business Trespass Program initiative.
