[ARCHIVED] Solid Waste Collection Update

We are over 50% compete with our first pass of bulk yard debris pick up, our crews are sweeping the City by scheduled garbage pickup day. We have completed Monday’s and Tuesday’s routes and have begun Thursday’s. We anticipate completing Thursday’s routes by Monday 10/28 and will then begin on Friday’s routes.

In order to try to pick up the most debris we can, during the first pass of bulk debris pickup we have moved the regular containerized yard debris crews and equipment to the bulk yard debris crews. We are emptying the yard debris containers with the bulk debris as we can. If your first pass of yard debris has already been through, the containerized yard debris crews will begin regular pickups again once the second pass of bulk yard debris begins, which is anticipated to be in approximately two weeks. Once the first pass of bulk yard debris is complete, we will begin the routes again and go through a second time for yard debris and fencing. We will also resume picking up bulk garbage at that time.

There is no need to call in bulk yard debris or fencing at this time, but please continue to call in any bulk junk items such as furniture and appliances. Thank you for your patience.
