The City of Titusville anticipates receiving grant funds of approximately $289,957 from the Florida State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) program for State fiscal year 2021/2022, effective July 1, 2021 for the following program:
Housing Rehabilitation Program
Applications will be accepted starting October 4, 2021 and until the program waiting list has received sufficient names to expend the grant funds.
All applicants will be placed on a waiting list in the order in which their application is received, and selected and assisted on a first-qualified, first-served basis. Applicants assisted through the above program must reside within the city limits of Titusville and meet income eligibility guidelines for very low- to low-income households. Priority assistance is given to the following groups in the following order:
- Homeowners with emergency conditions in their home, which present a threat to their health and safety due to no fault of their own
- Persons with special needs or who have a development disability as defined by Statute 420.0004(13) and 393.063(g)
- The elderly or households with children served for the first-time
- All other applicants served for the first-time.
