TITUSVILLE, Fla. – Motorists are advised that overnight lane closures and detours are scheduled on southbound Hopkins Avenue (U.S. 1) at Garden Street (State Road (S.R.) 406) in Titusville until Wednesday, Sept. 17. Lane closures with detours will be in place each night as early as 7 p.m. and are expected to open by 7 a.m. the following morning. The closures are for emergency work related to underground utilities. The City of Titusville is conducting this work.

Detour Information:

  • Motorists travelling eastbound on Garden Street wishing to turn right onto southbound Hopkins Avenue will be directed to turn right onto southbound Palm Avenue, left onto eastbound Orange Street, and then right onto southbound Hopkins Avenue.
  • Motorists travelling south on Hopkins Avenue wishing to continue past Garden Street will be directed to turn right onto Garden Street, left onto Palm Avenue, left onto eastbound Orange Street, and then right onto southbound Hopkins Avenue.

FDOT advises motorists to use caution, remain alert, and follow all posted detour signs.
