The Special Investigations (SIS) Unit is a group of highly motivated and dedicated Detectives who specialize in targeting drug "narcotics" activity and other vice-related crimes.
SIS Investigations can be lengthy in time and involve a variety of investigative techniques. They use state of the art electronics and work together with members of other local agencies including the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, State Attorney’s Office, and the DEA.
SIS also conducts counter drug operations at the "street-level" working in conjunction with the Patrol Section.
