Thank you for your interest in the Housing Rehabilitation Program. Based upon your responses to the application questions, a determination will be made as to your eligibility for the program. If you are determined to be eligible, your name will be placed on the "waiting list" and you will receive a follow-up letter in the mail once your name reaches to the top of the list; this process can take up to one year. If for any reason you are deemed ineligible, you will be notified of such in writing.
When your name comes up on the "waiting list" you will be contacted for an office appointment.
Evaluate & Prepare Your Property
In the meantime, you should ensure that you and your property meets all the criteria for assistance, and there are no outstanding issues that would delay your assistance.
Limited Availability of Funds
This program has very limited funds and is available citywide and are not developed to address any particular population or defined by any boundaries. The program is designed to address household needs and shall not be deemed to be entitlement based. Because funds are very limited, all assistance provided under this program will be based upon the owner’s financial ability to make the necessary repairs without assistance.
