Architecture

• Retail and commercial activity is limited to professional offices and home occupations.
• Retail should not significantly detract from the residential character of this district.
• Transparency should be no more that 45%.
• Identity is expressed through subtle signage and entry.

Materials

• Use of low impact (sustainable), high quality, durable facade materials are encouraged for retail facades. Examples include:
  • Wood
  • Masonry
  • Glass
  • Stucco (or EIFS at 4 feet above grade or higher)
  • Stone
