Activities
Our volunteers assist with fire and life safety events held on weekends and evenings throughout the year. These events take place both indoors and outdoors. Volunteers help by:
- Talking with community members and answering questions
- Handing out fire and life safety information
- Running interactive safety games and activities
- Helping set up and take down event equipment (10x10 tents, tables, displays, etc.)
- Loading and unloading the van
- Organizing the warehouse
Volunteers should be comfortable working in the heat, standing for long periods, engaging with the public, and working as part of a team.
