Do you ever have days when you wonder, "Another day-what to do, what to do?" Have you thought about the advantages of volunteering? Volunteering is:
Keeping in touch with the community in which you live
Leads to learning new skills
Making new friends
Meeting interesting people
Sharing your talents
Titusville Fire and Emergency Services’ community volunteers assist our department in a wide variety of duties. Some of their tasks include:
Answering Non-Emergency Telephones
Performing logistical duties such as:
Coordinating distribution of supplies to fire stations
Filling fire station supply requests
Maintaining our warehouse inventory count
Our community volunteers also help with many other different department activities throughout the year, such as creating and distributing flyers during Fire Prevention and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Weeks and assisting with the coordination of our annual recognition programs.
