The Titusville Police Department recently held its annual 2024 Awards Ceremony at the Indian River Preserve Golf Club in Mims.
The Titusville Police Department’s 2024 Award Winners are as follows:
- Officer of the Year, Officer Curtis Bloomfield.
- Detective of the Year, Detective Cameron Peppiatt.
- Supervisor of the Year, Sergeant Robert Holden.
- School Resource Officer of the Year, Officer John Cruz.
- 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator of the Year, 911 PST Tracey Glover.
- Civilian Employee of the Year, Code Enforcement Specialist Kat Cheney.
- Jack H. Schnell Traffic Safety Officer of the Year, Officer Matthew Rasmussen.
- Outstanding Rookie of the Year, Officer Andrew Dominguez.
- School Crossing Guard of the Year, Soraida Gonzalez.
- Volunteer of the Year, Shelby Davis.
- Community Watch Volunteer of the Year, Ken Hutchings.
The 2024 Award Winners were selected by a diverse committee of department members who reviewed numerous nominations submitted by police department team members.
Sergio Salazar, Executive Director of the Titusville YMCA Family Center received special business recognition and appreciation on behalf of their continued support and partnership with our department and the community we serve.
In addition, Titusville Police Department Officer of the Year, Curtis Bloomfield, will be recognized in late April at the Brevard County Association of Chiefs of Police Banquet.
